International Folkloric Days in La Torre de Claramunt
The International Folklore Days of Catalonia have the fundamental objective of promoting and energizing the popular culture of our country and also introducing Catalonia to the folklore of other parts of the world through various cultural exchanges.
The Claramunt Tower is also participating in these events, so you can enjoy folklore groups from other countries.
This folklore festival was born in 1972 in Barcelona, within the Esbart Lluís Millet, with the name of Jornadas Internacionales Folklóricas (JIF), and operated under the motto of "The dances of the people for our people". Folklore groups from all over the world alternated their performances with those of the "esbarts".
