Musicant Campllong
Musicant, music of the country: the annual event with the Catalan roots in Campllong!
From June 25 to 29, Campllong will once again vibrate with the music of the country with a new edition of the Musicant festival, consolidated as a reference space for Catalan folk music.
The festival was launched last Saturday, March 21st, with an intimate and symbolic concert by Julien Leone and Màxim Cayuela, who championed the presence of Catalan in Northern Catalonia. The performance culminated in a moving rendition of L'estaca, transformed into a collective declaration of culture and identity.
The presentation of the program was carried out by the mayor of Campllong, Lluís Freixas, and the director of the festival, Albert Bosch.
This year's lineup champions diversity and artistic quality. Among the standout acts are La Llobregat and Els Mèlt, an innovative project that fuses the cobla with a mixed vocal quartet, combining original repertoire with arrangements by Jordi Molina.
Also appearing will be Ginestà, one of the most established groups in contemporary Catalan pop. Siblings Júlia and Pau Serrasolsas continue to rack up successes after Vida meva (2024), which won two Enderrock Awards, and in 2026 they will release a highly anticipated new album that reaffirms their prominent place within the Catalan music scene.
The legendary band Sau will return to the stage with a unique show: an immersive audiovisual concert that will combine never-before-seen images with their greatest hits, and will even allow you to relive the voice of Carles Sabater.
From the Valencian Community comes Noelia Llorens "Titana," one of the most representative voices of traditional Valencian song. With her latest work, Llum, she fuses folk songs—such as fandangos, jotas, and lullabies—with her own compositions of a socially conscious nature.
The festival also joins in the commemoration of the Conxita Badia Year (1897-1974) with the show Vine tu i les teves cançons, performed by the Conxita Badia Trio. The concert pays tribute to one of the key figures of Catalan lyric poetry, with works by composers such as Casals, Toldrà, Pahissa, and Mompou, performed by Ulrike Haller (soprano), Pau Casan (piano), and Eulàlia Domènech (rhapsodist).
A new edition of Musicant that reaffirms its commitment to the country's culture, language and music.
