Sant Julià de Ramis Festival
The Sant Julià de Ramis Festival is packed with events for the whole family!
The festivities will begin with activities specially designed for children, the traditional opening proclamation, and a nighttime walk. During the first weekend, there will also be sporting events, a classic car meet, exhibitions, a fun run, and various activities to enjoy the natural surroundings of Sant Julià de Ramis.
Families will find games, inflatables, a foam party, storytelling, workshops, and theatrical performances, while sports enthusiasts can participate in or follow tournaments, hikes, and other activities. Food will also have its place with communal dinners, vermouth gatherings, and opportunities to share a meal and extend the festivities.
Popular culture will be a major highlight of the main days of the festival. There will be sardana dances, human towers, giant papier-mâché figures, street parades, and a correfoc (fire run) that will bring fire and percussion to the streets. Religious ceremonies related to Saint Cosmas and Saint Damian, the patron saints of the festival, will also take place.
As night falls, concerts, cover bands, and DJ sets will take over, with something for different generations. The music will continue until the final day, which will combine sardanas (traditional Catalan dances), family activities, and a grand closing concert and dance.
A varied and participatory Fiesta Mayor to take to the streets, meet up and enjoy Sant Julià de Ramis amidst tradition, music, sport, culture and fun.
