Vilobí d'Onyar

Vilobí d'Onyar is a municipality in the jungle belonging to the urban area of ??the city of Girona. The municipality is composed of three entities: Vilobí d'Onyar, Salitja and Sant Dalmai.

Vilobí d'Onyar is located in a flat area next to the river Onyar. Its population has grown up around the church of Sant Esteve and the castle and towards the road of Santa Coloma. The present church dates from the eighteenth century and sports a Baroque bell tower, Vilobí castle was remodeled in the nineteenth century, although it has its origins in the XII-XIII.
